Watching @TWIT with @LeoLaporte on my RokuPlayer 2 XS. Great on a 62″ TV!

Leo Laporte has been on technology shows as long as I can recall, going back into my teenage years.  He now basically owns his own network and participates in at least one show per week that is broadcast through the Internet to technology devices.  As that content has been created and stored it is now capable of being broadcast onto televisions.

The key point here is that the cost of producing TV shows has gone down dramatically with digital technologies.  First there was Network TV, then Cable TV, then Satellite TV and Digital Cable and now Internet Broadcasting.  We have gone from 3 networks/channels to 20-30 channels in the 1980s to hundreds in the late 1990s and early 2000s.  Now there is potentially an UNLIMITED number of shows that can be produced and distributed.

Are you producing a show in your niche? It sure is an excellent way to demonstrate your expertise!  Something to think about in 2012…

To Your Success,

Dan Ross
